University Strategic Plan
Bu Ali Sina University’s strategic plan for the year 1408 has been formulated with the aim of targeting the university’s future activities, enhancing its scientific and cultural status, and moving towards a third-generation (entrepreneurial) and fourth-generation (community-oriented) university. This plan was formed based on national and provincial upstream documents and with the participation of all the university’s main stakeholders, and attempts to determine the path of the university’s growth and excellence in the next five years by focusing on ten transformational axes.
Bu Ali Sina University has determined the ethical and strategic framework of the plan by relying on fundamental values, including commitment to Islamic principles and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), respect for national culture and history, and the production of beneficial and ethically-oriented science. The university’s vision is to achieve a superior position among the country’s comprehensive universities, to be present in the top 100 universities in the Islamic world and the top 1,000 universities in the world, and to be a scientific authority in various fields of science, new technologies, and art. The university's mission includes improving the quality of education, research, technology, student, cultural-social, and human and financial resource management at national and international levels.
The program's broad goals include six axes:
Continuous development of educational quality with an emphasis on modernity, problem-orientedness, skill development, employability, and interdisciplinaryness.
Participation in the production of global knowledge and moving towards an entrepreneurial and community-oriented university.
Systematic establishment and development of international interaction and cooperation.
Deepening Islamic teachings and promoting ethical, professional, and social responsibility capabilities.
Improving the quality of life and well-being of students.
Developing an agile, efficient, and responsive management and support system.
For each broad goal, four strategies have been determined and operational measures related to key performance indicators (KPIs) have been designed to enable continuous monitoring, evaluation, and control.
The university's strategic plan demonstrates the relationship between the growth-supporting environment, strategic processes, stakeholder experience, and financial results and economic impact, and shows how Bu-Ali Sina University will create sustainable value for students, faculty, staff, and society by utilizing its tangible and intangible assets.
Finally, by emphasizing the active participation of the university's extended family and relying on existing capacities, the 1408 strategic plan of Bu-Ali Sina University, after approval by the Board of Trustees, will pave the way for realizing the strategic vision and enhancing the university's position at the national and international levels.
